Department Overview

The Department of Social Welfare fosters social welfare experts equipped with the knowledge and practice skills to improve the social functions of individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities

Trains social workers with leadership in developing and improving comprehensive service practices and ethical, social welfare politics
Equips social workers with practical skills to plan, operate, and evaluate social welfare programs and effectively provide social welfare services based on an understanding of the needs for welfare in the local community
Equips social welfare counseling experts with social welfare knowledge, counseling theories, and practical skills
Trains welfare experts for the aged equipped with knowledge and skills related to long-term recuperation, as well as qualification to develop related policies required in an aging society
Trains multicultural society experts equipped with knowledge and skills related to a multicultural society, as well as practical skills to provide social welfare services to multicultural families effectively

Educational Goals
